Whether you are applying through the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) or the Direct Entry (Part-time Degree Program) route, we have outlined the key admission requirements below:
UTME Route:
- Successful completion of the UTME Examinations with an application for a course at Federal University Dutse.
- Attainment of a minimum aggregate score, as determined by the University, in subjects relevant to the chosen program.
- Possession of a minimum of Five (5) credit passes at the Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination (SSCE) or equivalent, from either the West African Examinations Council (WAEC) or the National Examinations Council (NECO), achieved in not more than two (2) sittings.
- Credits must include English and Mathematics.
- Registration and participation in a Post-UTME test conducted by the University.
Direct Entry (Part-time Degree Program) Route:
- Entry requirements encompass OND (with merit), NCE, IJMB (minimum of 8 points), GCE ‘A’ Level (3 credits), and HND (Pass).
- Fulfillment of all necessary ‘O’ Level requirements applicable to regular full-time undergraduate admissions.
- Compulsory credit in English for all courses; Mathematics is necessary for science-based and social science courses.
- Submission of credentials for screening by holders of ‘A’ Level certificates.
