NAME:PROFESSOR M.MABUBAKAR
TITLE/POSITION: Dean, Faculty of Science
Mohammad Mustapha Abubakar was born on the 17th of April 1966. He attended Gandun Nassarawa primary school in Kano, Comprehensive secondary school Damaturu, School of Basic Studies (SBS) ABU, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany.
He then proceeded to Bayero University Kano, where he got his Master of Science degree in Zoology and a Doctorate degree in Biology from Ahmadu Bello University in 2010.
He taught at Sa’adatu Rimi College of Education (Formerly Kano State College of Education) Kumbotso for 20 years. He is a member of several professional bodies and has attended many academic conferences in Nigeria and abroad. He has more than 40 published articles in both local and international journals.
Professor Abubakar who is currently at Federal University Dutse had the privilege of serving in many State and National committees.
At FUD, he has served as a Head of Department for 4 years, Deputy Dean, and presently the Dean of the Faculty of Science
He is married with twelve children.
